#Maia #Maypole #Ribbons #Bealtainne #Summer #Charms #Rituals A charm used in ritual which is part of the ancestor veneration of the early ethnic Germanic folk throughout the iron age and is still used today. This is a smaller scaled version I made for my Moon garden in 2018 Bealtainne’s... - ☽ ✧ - Δ - ✧ ☾ - celebrations. The pole is not only a symbol of fertility but also the union of masculine and feminine. Often red and white ribbons are used to represent the menstrual cycle of the goddess and the semen of the god being woven together, however many colored ribbons are used to represent the veil between worlds (the rainbow) for only’ those who are honourable will travel. The colours also represent the coming array of colors within the Maia season, May in the Northern hemisphere which is actually October in the Southern hemisphere due to the season being the reason for the month naming in white culture. The pole itself erected is also symbolic of the phallic then decorated and traditionally for all the European community to see. Dancing around the maypole in a pattern to weave the maypole decorated with flowers and wreaths is a long standing white tradition thanks to our pan Celtic/Germanic blood lines and family of sub races within the Anglo/white blood pool. The dance is the ritual and part of the May King and Queen procession to bring fertility and good fortune to the white community. Now usually these poles can be up to 25 feet high, however for ease of setup and symbolic use this one here is only 6 foot high. Now I didn’t get to decorate it as much as I wanted to, but it did the trick for Bealtainne in 2018 especially when I set up my white stag of the mist in the moon garden to represent our white stag lord. I just sat back and watched the humming and dance of my bees and birds on the sunny afternoons of the summer tide. From Chapter 'Charms' What I Used;
