#Sidhe #SidheTree #Sunsday #Ritual #Offerings #Wyrdcraft #Crossroad #2020 #Lughnasadh #Autumn #Ribbon #Charm #Waters #Autumn #Mabon ... It is windy pre storm Sunsday down here in the Southern hemisphere and I have just returned from a Crossroad, spending time with my Ravens, the small bucket pond I made, its hag stone, the Sidhe tree and my autumn solar wheel ribbon or coutie offering, early this Lughs Autumntide... Me Sidhe, ‘My faerie’ tree full of gates stands alone among rocks and dust opposite a sealed off plot behind a green. Although the spot appears barren if you listen closely enough you can hear the water catchments running through in which I have the pleasure of seeing my ravens bathe when the adjoining curb fills with its waters. To me this tree is sacred and I have been visiting her and my family of ravens in this location for at least 3 months now. A salvaged bucket has been dug into the soil barren ground in which I have also added a big hag stone or the Eye of Emerald isles’ Cailleach, along with rocks from around the site to encircle the water. Every day I come past late in the afternoon to top up with a bucket of fresh water for the Sidhe that reside there including their familiars of Ravens, Red European Fox, Faery Wrens, Wattlebirds and New Holland Honey feeders. It’s a joy to see young Loki jump up and dive bomb into this bucket (much at the dismay of his mother ‘Muma bear’ who I swear I can hear sighing, when he does this) Today was so windy my skirt and hair was billowing red all around me and at times like this I can’t help find delights of the changing gusts o wind almost teasing that they are going to pick me up and carry me off... A golden reel of ribbon with apple red embodies the solar wheel, Brides cross, and the Gefu Runr – they all mean much to me and the colors of this epitomise the hues of the golden autumn Lugh sun and the rich red apple of mid autumn fall and mabons mother ‘Madron’. I trim and tie the ribbon couttie to the tree branch in thanks of the wet and warm humid of Lughs Autumn and the anticipation of the 2nd harvest or great feast of the fall on the tail of Lughnasadh tide. New vegetation is staring to push through around the square bucket well... As the wind gustles about the charming couttie... In closing, it is amazing how such a small natural place defies the industry around it and contains so many of my loves and treasures, from hag stone, to my own well representation, to the tree of the sidhe and the luminal spaces and gates within and around the tree... Every day it is part of my soul food to visit this spot and acknowledge even if just for 5 minutes even if just to top up the bucket well I made... I must note though my blood boils when I see others degrading our trees by tieing them with the propoganda of Saints which is semetic instead of the European soul. The trees are part of the European soul in which no other can replace and are in many cases the embodiment of our very ancestors of the white or European race...
